“My son joined after school activity 3 month ago, i can see how his education level and attitude has changed, mainly because of the owner of the place, because she is very kind person, and deals with him as a mom not a teacher or owner, she is very helpful, open minded and set up a friendly environment for the kids...” – Nermeen L. (Yelp)

“This review is long overdue! Maureen and her program have been our family's saving grace. Our son is on the Autism spectrum and from day one, she treated him like one of her own children. He has learned so much academically and socially from her program that I give her all the credit in the world for his progress in both areas…” – Carina S. (Yelp)

“My daughter came here for Kindergarten Prep and I was not disappointed. Ms.Maureen was a phenomenal teacher…My daughter grew so much academically, just over a few months. It was incredible to see her transformation! Thank you so much Ms.Maureen! If you all are looking for a good place to prepare for your child for Kindergarten. I highly recommend it.” – Adam M. (Yelp)

Got Questions

We Have Answers!

Do parents have to be present?

No. You do, however, need to log your child into the online classroom at the start of each class, but then you can either stay or do other things you need to do. You may need to teach your child which button to click when I ask them to unmute, or join a break out room (blue button).

Do I have to buy any extra supplies?

No. Our curriculum is designed to be self-contained within our reading class each day so you don't have to buy any additional supplies.

Is it easy to access?

Yes. You can access our online classes on Zoom on any device where you have internet.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes.

What if I miss a class?

If your child isn't able to make it to class one day, that's okay! If it happens to be a day we assess them, we'll do it next time! Watch the video links or do the online assignments on this day if you can, and take advantage of the bonus activities if you like too.

How will you know when my child is ready to advance?

We assess children anywhere between two weeks and two months depending on their natural learning rate, confidence level, and other indicators. We use assessment results to determine when they’re ready to advance.

How can I best help my child learn?

It’s as simple as being your child’s cheerleader. When they share that they learned something new, jump for joy alongside them. Think out loud in front of your child whenever you do math, whether it's counting something, adding, measuring, etc. When children see a reason for learning math, they're more likely to show interest. Be easy-going. Happy children learn faster.

How can I remember to sign my child in for class?

Setting up a recurring labeled phone alarm helps most parents.

For breaks, adding reminders to your calendar to turn off/on your phone alarm seems to be the simplest way for parents to manage this.

We will be on vacation, can we pause our subscription?

We recommend that students don't go more than one or two weeks without doing schoolwork. Otherwise, they can forget what they've learned. It can be a waste of their time, and your money. 5-15 minutes per day (or more at your discretion) first thing after getting ready in the morning is what we recommend during vacation time.

Since we pay for account subscriptions for your child, we cannot pause your membership.

You can cancel, but keep in mind you can lose your spot and have to get on the waiting list.
